2012 Cadillac SRX powered by a new 3.6Liter V-6 engine, Its delivers horsepower 308 hp / 230 kW at 6,800rpm and Torque: 265 lb.-ft. at 2,400rpm with fuel consumption: 16 MPG City/23 MPG Highway. This is the most powerful standard engines in the crossover segment. It enhances a combination of performance, technology and refinement that is resonating with more luxury crossover customers.

Car responsiveness is dramatically improved in all operating conditions

– full-throttle acceleration, around town maneuvering in traffic, launch from a standstill and passing maneuvers. It is matched with the Hydra-Matic 6T70 6-speed automatic transmission, which features a driver selectable Eco feature that alters the throttle progression and shift points to help optimize fuel economy.


The Cadilac SRX 2012 luxury crossover accommodates your lifestyle, in more ways than one, with features like:
  • A high-capacity double-deck glove box that can be cooled and can easily accommodate a 2-liter bottle
  • A center armrest with two storage compartments that features a dual-depth cup holder, so whether you have a small cup or a tall water bottle, it fits securely and stays in place.
  • Generous underfloor storage that conceals items.
  • Additional storage compartments in the front and rear doors, and in the backs of the front seats.
  • Rear seats that fold flat to create more than 60 cubic feet of cargo space in back.
  • An available U-Rail system with a unique adjustable cargo fence that helps cargo items stay exactly where they belong.
  • Roof rails that, when fitted with the appropriate, available racks or cargo boxes, can accommodate large items like snowboards or bicycles.
  • An available programmable power liftgate lets you select a liftgate height of your choosing to avoid hitting what’s overhead. Once programmed, you can open it and close it, all at the touch of a button.


The available UltraView sunroof is a perfect example of the kind of thoughtful design featured throughout the Cadilax SRX 2012, spanning both seats and giving the car an even more spacious feel.
When the sun gets more intense, the standard power sunshade blocks the light and keeps things cool.
And, as a final detail, ingenious technology automatically adjusts the available Bose® 5.1 surround sound volume when the roof opens and closes, leaving your hands free to do other things—like driving.

Keyless Access and Push-Button Startkeyless access and Push-button start;
Push-button start replaces your conventional key, allowing you to start and stop the vehicle's ignition with the push of a button on the instrument panel.
This convenient technology lets you unlock and lock the doors and start the engine without accessing your keys.
Available keyless access senses when you approach or leave the vehicle, and will unlock/lock the doors without you having to remove your keys from your purse or pocket.


Cadillac also gives enhanced features for 2012 Cadillac SRX, as well as updates that make it more refined and quieter – including new sound absorbing material placed strategically throughout the car. The Sport suspension systems and Base have been revised to improve the ride quality.

  • Door lock switches on the driver and passenger door panels as well as the center console.
  • Available all-ebony interior trim.
  • One new exterior color: Xenon Blue Metallic.
  • OnStar Turn-by-Turn automated directions are loaded to the car.
  • Memory seat set – the occupant can set the seating position simply by pressing “set” and the number simultaneously.
  • A new machined-face finish on the 20-inch wheels, which are standard on Performance and Premium Collections.
